Trump's Approval Rating Has Plummeted To A Historic Low

U.S. President Donald Trump is supported by only 33% of Americans—the lowest figure during his two terms in office. About two-thirds of those surveyed said they disagree with his policies.
This is according to a poll by The Economist/YouGov.
According to the poll, 33% of Americans fully or partially approve of Trump’s performance as president. This is the lowest figure during his two terms in office.
Sixty-two percent of those surveyed do not support the president’s policies—a record-high level of dissatisfaction. The net approval rating—that is, the difference between “approval” and “disapproval”—stands at minus 29 points.
By comparison, at the same point in his first term, Trump had a net rating of minus 10, while then-President Joe Biden had a net rating of minus 17.
The president’s lowest level of support was recorded among women, white Americans, and college graduates:
— among Democrats, only 4% approve of Trump, while 95% disapprove;
— among independent voters, support stands at 18% versus 71% who disapprove;
— among Republicans who support the MAGA movement—which accounts for about 60% of the party—support remains high at 92%;
— among Republicans who do not support MAGA—which accounts for about 30% of the party—approval has dropped to 51%.
At the beginning of the year, 32% of independent voters supported Trump, while 60% did not. Now these figures have worsened.
At the start of Trump’s second term, Republicans not associated with MAGA supported him almost unanimously—90% approval versus 6% disapproval. Now this segment of the party is split almost evenly.
Only 17% of Americans fully support Trump’s performance—a new low for his second term. Among Republicans, less than half—48%—fully approve of the president.
