Explosions and gunfire were heard in occupied Crimea on the night of July 2. Possible strikes were reported in Sevastopol, Simferopol, and Feodosia, according to “Krym.Realii” .
According to the Russian occupation administration, an air raid alert was declared in Sevastopol at 3:21 a.m. and lasted about two hours. The occupation authorities did not report on the consequences of the attack or any possible hits. At least two explosions were heard in the city.
The channel “Crimean Wind” reports a powerful explosion near the state district power plant in Simferopol. Local residents are reporting power outages.
In Feodosia, there may have been three strikes near the oil depot and another near Mount Tepe-Oba, where Russian radar stations are located. These reports cannot currently be confirmed by independent sources.
In addition, media outlets are reporting fires at the “Donuzlav” and “Mityaevo” power substations in the west of the peninsula. The former is a high-voltage hub substation, while the latter supplies power to local communities and is connected to a 32-MW solar power plant.
