Thirteen people were killed.
As a result of Russia's attack on Kyiv on July 2, the number of injured rose to 86, with 13 already confirmed dead. Rescue workers are still searching for people under the rubble of damaged residential buildings.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing a post by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
As of now, 13 deaths have been reported in the capital. The total number of injured has risen to 86, including two children.
70 of the injured have been hospitalized.
Extent of the Damage
The enemy struck at least 20 residential buildings with direct hits. In total, about a hundred more buildings in the city were damaged as a result of the shelling.

Rescue workers from the State Emergency Service continue to work at 15 locations, clearing debris. Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko added that people may still be trapped under the rubble.
Operation in the Darnytskyi District
Separately, in the Darnytskyi District, where part of a high-rise building has been destroyed, a search-and-rescue operation is underway in one of the damaged buildings.
