The Kremlin Reacted To Zelensky's Letter To Putin

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has proposed to the Russian leadership to hold a personal meeting with Vladimir Putin to discuss possible ways to end the war. The Kremlin confirmed receipt of the appeal and said a response would be given later.

This was reported by Sharter97.org, citing a publication by the TASS propaganda agency.

The Kremlin said it had familiarized itself with a letter from Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky addressed to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the official position on the letter will be announced later.

Peskov said that in case Vladimir Zelensky is really interested in a meeting, he may come to Moscow. The Kremlin did not disclose other details of the possible format of contacts.

In his letter, Vladimir Zelensky offered to organize a personal meeting with Vladimir Putin to discuss the end of the war. The Ukrainian president said that the current stage of the conflict requires direct dialog between the leaders.
