60 Missiles Fired At Kyiv Alone: Zelenskyy Makes An Urgent Appeal To The G7
Volodymyr Zelenskyy

The President of Ukraine revealed details of Russia's barbaric attack.

In Kyiv and Kharkiv, efforts continue to address the aftermath of the Russian invaders' attacks. On the night of June 15, the enemy launched 60 missiles at Kyiv alone.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on the consequences of Russia’s large-scale strike on Ukraine. He added that, as of now, 28 people are known to have been injured and 4 killed as a result of the enemy strike on the capital.

“Due to the Russian strike on the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the Assumption Cathedral—a church whose history dates back to the 11th century—was on fire. And this is one of the greatest Russian crimes against Christian culture to date. The State Emergency Service has already extinguished the fire on the cathedral’s roof,” Zelenskyy said.
In Kharkiv, according to the president, Russia struck the site again just as rescue workers arrived to deal with the aftermath of the attack. The president noted that five people were killed and nine others were injured as a result of the Russian strike on Kharkiv.
In Dnipro, as Zelenskyy noted, the Russians struck a railway station, a college, and a business. In addition, the enemy attacked the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions last night.
“This is how Russia is showing the world its intentions to continue the war. It is very important that the G7 countries, which are currently gathering for a summit, respond, and that their response be decisive and substantial: more pressure on the aggressor, more assistance to Ukraine with air defense, and above all with missile defense,” the Ukrainian president stated.
