Residential buildings and the Dovzhenko Film Studio were also damaged.
On the night of June 15, Russian forces launched a massive strike on Kyiv, using drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles.
As a result of the attack, 140,000 customers were left without power, and the Assumption Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was damaged.

“Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Lavra’s monastic community, rescue workers, and firefighters, we were able to minimize the threat to people and preserve the holy sites,” noted Archbishop Avraamy.
Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy Tatyana Berezhnaya confirmed that the strike destroyed the costume workshop of the Dovzhenko Film Studio, where approximately 100,000 costumes and three million items of clothing were stored.
