Israel Struck A Hezbollah Command Center In Beirut

The strike was in response to an attack on Israeli territory.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that it had struck a command center belonging to the Lebanese group Hezbollah in Beirut. A press release noted that the strike was in response to an attack on Israeli territory.

“The command center was used by Hezbollah terrorists to organize terrorist attacks against citizens of the State of Israel and IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon,” the statement said. The IDF claims that the threat to civilians was minimized prior to the strike.

Al-Hadath TV reports that one person was killed and four others were wounded as a result of the strike. The target of the strike was reportedly the commander of a Hezbollah special communications unit.
