The Ukrainian Armed Forces are expanding the scope of their strikes.
On the morning of June 10, 2026, an air raid alert was issued in Russia’s Omsk Region for the first time since the Russian army’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began.
This was reported by Dialog.UA after analyzing social media. The governor of the Omsk region Vitaly Khotsenko announced the drone threat in the region at 07:01. Thirty minutes later, at 07:31, the drone threat in this Russian region was lifted. There is no mention of explosions.
An air raid alert had never been declared in the Omsk region before. It should be noted that the distance from Ukraine to this Russian region is over 2,800 km.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will expand the scope of strikes on military and strategic targets within the territory of the Russian Federation. He emphasized that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin must end the war, otherwise Kyiv will intensify its “long-range sanctions” against Russia.
