Already in the summer, Putin will face a dilemma.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said that Ukrainian drones may appear over the May 9 parade in Moscow. According to him, Russia is no longer as strong as it used to be.
"Russia has announced a parade on May 9, but there will be no military equipment there. This will be the first time in many years that they cannot afford the presence of armaments at the parade. It shows that they are no longer as strong as they used to be. We must continue to pressure them with sanctions," the president said at the opening of the VIII summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan, the "We-Ukraine" TV channel reported.
In addition, the Ukrainian head of state also said during the speech that this summer will be the moment when Russian dictator Vladimir Putin "will decide what to do next: expand the war or move to diplomacy."
According to Zelensky, the idea of lifting sanctions is unacceptable. It is necessary to focus on what to do if Russia does not end the war, the Ukrainian president believes.
On the night of May 4, an explosion erupted in Moscow due to a drone attack. The incident occurred five days before the scheduled May 9 parade, which Russian authorities traditionally turn into a propaganda show.
According to local publicks, an unknown UAV hit a high-rise building near Mosfilmovskaya Street. Before that, residents of the Moscow region filmed a drone flyover on video.
