Very Telling Signs

Very Telling Signs
Yuri Fedorenko

The grimace of war is already peeking into the home of every Russian family.

Who we are at war with. Not long ago, a balalaika-playing teacher from Yekaterinburg, who for years lured children to his home, strangled them with a bag and "sexually entertained" them, was convicted. He subsequently signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and went to war. Now this character is probably somewhere near Pokrovsk or Kupyansk, where our drones are hunting him. His chances are slim.

This story is important not in itself, but as an illustration of a large-scale trend. Thousands of murderers, rapists, pedophiles and other perverts are coming to our land. Even cannibals happen. Until January 2024, they were guaranteed a pardon from the supreme criminal, Putin. Later this practice was replaced by parole.

In the swamps, all prisoners fit to hold a gun are induced to sign contracts and sent to the front as "volunteers" for six months. But they cannot return home: the contract is automatically renewed. The only way into civilian life is through severe injury. The number of maimed criminals is already reaching critical proportions and provoking new spikes in serious and especially serious crimes.

Those Russian mercenaries who had no criminal experience before signing the contract are quickly criminalized at the front. This process began as early as 2022 and has only intensified since then. The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine states: the mass return of armed, traumatized and criminalized war participants has caused a sharp increase in violence in the Russian Federation.

Court statistics for the last three years show that the number of criminal murder cases involving Russian military personnel has increased more than 10 times. British researchers (University of Birmingham, a program supported by the British Foreign Office), who track the dynamics of especially serious crimes, note that the wave of violence generated by the war is hitting all Russian regions.

The rates of murder, rape, drug trafficking, criminal gang activity and human trafficking are rapidly increasing. A separate line is domestic violence, which has reached its highest level in the last 15 years (and this against the background of constant propaganda of "traditional family values").

At the same time, another process is taking place: the Kremlin regime is becoming more and more repressive towards its own citizens. The number of so-called "extremist" cases in 2025 has increased by a third, "terrorist" cases by almost 60%. This, by the way, is also a direct consequence of the war against Ukraine.

The conclusion is obvious: violence in its most heinous forms is becoming commonplace in the marshes. The grimace of war is already peeking into the home of every Russian family. To some it comes in the form of a maniac, to some in the form of poverty and unemployment, to some it is lost in the corridors of the FSB. Life in the swamps is rapidly becoming unbearable. These are indirect, but very telling signs that Russia is approaching defeat.

The ancient philosophers believed: sooner or later, evil begins to destroy itself. We have already brought the aggressor to this state. But there is still a lot of work to do: the apparatus of violence called "Russian federation" must turn into ashes. Therefore, we are approaching the next phase of history. Let's keep working. Glory to Ukraine!"
