Moscow's Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo airports have halted operations due to drone attacks.

On the night of May 3, unknown drones massively attacked the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation. Under attack could be the objects of port infrastructure. This is reported by local publicks and monitoring channels.

Explosions were heard in different districts of the Leningrad region, residents reported the sounds of drone overflights and the work of air defense.

The governor of the region Alexander Drozdenko reported about allegedly 59 destroyed drones.

With this background, St. Petersburg's Pulkovo airport temporarily suspended operations. According to Rosaviatsia, it does not accept or dispatch flights. The same situation in "Sheremetyevo" and "Vnukovo".

In the Leningrad region, the UAV attack danger mode was introduced at about 23:00 Moscow time. This is one of the largest reported raids on the region by Russian authorities in recent times.
