On the night of May 3, drones attacked Russia's Leningrad region en masse. There were explosions in different corners of the region, writes "Focus".
Russian seaports in the Leningrad region could be under drone attack this night. This is reported by OSINT-analysts.
"Leningrad region, a drone/airplane has fallen, air defense works in the region. The ports are under attack," the analysts wrote.
The network began to spread footage of the attack on the region. The videos show sounds of explosions and bright flashes in the sky.
In the meantime, Russian Telegram channels reported that drones are allegedly trying to attack the regional center, St. Petersburg. Residents of several cities in the region complained about the sounds of explosions. In a number of districts, sounds of drones flying in the direction of St. Petersburg were heard.
Before that, at Pulkovo airport and in Pskovo, Rosaviatsia imposed restrictions on aircraft departures and landings.
Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko confirmed the attack on the region. He first reported the "successful shooting down" of at least 35 drones in the skies above the region, and at around 04:00 hours informed that Russian air defense had allegedly eliminated at least 43 drones.
