The AFU Built A Secret Underground City Half A Kilometer Long On The Front Line

Even foreign guests from NATO countries were amazed by the scale.

Ukrainian paratroopers have built an underground city nearly 500 meters long on the eastern outskirts of Slavyansk, which is one of the largest underground shelters on the front line.

"This is a whole army town almost half a kilometer long, where soldiers not only live, but also hide heavy equipment. The scale of the underground amazed even foreign guests from NATO countries", - stated in the material.

The shelter is built as a complex labyrinth. This was done intentionally: if an enemy missile or KAB destroys one part of the tunnel, the other part must survive.

The depth of the corridors varies from 1.5 to 4 meters.

The infrastructure of the underground city contains:

underground parking: pickup trucks and even large trucks can move freely in the tunnels;

professional kitchen: chef Maxim, who worked in a restaurant in civilian life, helped design the kitchen so that it would be as good as a professional one. Here the soldiers are fed with hot dishes, such as cheese soup;

communication: water, sewerage and sleeping places are installed underground;

gym: since the soldiers may not come to the surface for weeks, they have equipped a place for sports to compensate for "sitting in front of the monitors".

The journalists noted that it took 2 minutes and 40 seconds just to walk down the corridor from one entrance to another at a moderate pace.
