Belarusians Will Have A Rest For A Third Of May

Many days have been given "pre-prandial" status.

Of the 31 days in May, 11 are weekends and holidays, while one more day has the status of "pre-holiday".

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has specified how many days and when Belarusians will rest in May.

The holidays in May are:

- May 1 (Friday), Labor Day (non-working holiday). Since in 2026 this holiday falls on Friday, Belarusians will have a three-day weekend from May 1-3.

- May 9 (Saturday), Victory Day (non-working holiday). At the same time, May 8 (Friday) is designated a pre-holiday working day, its duration reduced by 1 hour.
