Details.
If Iran does not accept the deal the U.S. is offering, the U.S. Army will take out all power plants and all bridges in Iran, President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social.
"Stop being nice guys! They [Iran] will give up fast, give up easy, and if they don't take the deal, I will be honored to do what is necessary, what other Iranian presidents over the last 47 years should have done. It is time to put an end to this machine to destroy Iran!" - the president said.
Trump added that Iran opened fire in the Strait of Hormuz on April 18 in "flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement," with a French warship and a British merchant ship being fired upon. "It wasn't pretty, was it?" - he wrote.
The Republican said his representatives were heading to Islamabad for talks. He also noted that Tehran's announced closure of the strait merely duplicates the U.S. blockade and costs Iran itself $500 million in daily losses.
"The United States is not losing anything. In fact, right now a lot of ships are heading to the U.S., Texas, Louisiana and Alaska for loading, courtesy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which always wants to be the 'tough guy,'" he added.
