Trump Credits Himself With Settling The "tenth" War

The U.S. president credited the Israeli-Lebanese truce.

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon was the "tenth" conflict he had resolved. He made the announcement on the social media network Truth Social.

The American president said he spoke with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and agreed on a ten-day ceasefire between the countries. He added that the truce will begin at 5 p.m. EST (midnight Thursday-Friday, Minsk time).

"I have been honored to settle nine wars around the world, and this will be my tenth, so let's do it!" - Trump wrote.
