The former U.S. president spoke of "betrayal."
Former U.S. President Barack Obama has publicly criticized the policies of the current White House occupant, Donald Trump, regarding Ukraine and Iran. He made these remarks at a United for Georgia campaign rally, according to Clash Report.
Obama, in particular, accused the White House of kowtowing to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and the Trump administration of taking the war lightly.
“And while we are alienating key allies such as Canada, the White House is bowing down to Putin and betraying Ukrainians who are fighting for their freedom and democracy,” the former U.S. president said.
It should be noted that one week before the U.S. midterm congressional elections, Democrats lead Republicans by nine percentage points among voters most likely to go to the polls.
