Israel Election Results: The Final Twist

Israel Election Results: The Final Twist

91% of the votes have been counted.

The final voter turnout in Israel's parliamentary elections was 77.7%, reflecting the participation of more than 5.6 million eligible voters, according to cursorinfo.co.il.

As of the morning of October 29, 5,183,415 ballots had been counted at 11,836 polling stations, representing approximately 91% of the total number of voters. Of these, 5,160,522 votes were deemed valid, while 22,893 ballots were invalidated. The final voter turnout for the October 27 election was recorded at a high level—77.7% (5,695,682 citizens out of 7,331,981 registered voters exercised their right to vote).

Current balance between key blocs

Processing the latest data set did not result in any significant changes to the overall balance of power:

Ruling coalition: 53 seats

Opposition bloc: 48 seats

Arab parties: 19 seats

A minimum of 61 parliamentary seats is required to form a stable government. Since neither of the opposing camps has the necessary majority, the country remains in a complex political stalemate.

Detailed distribution of the 120 parliamentary seats

Taking into account inter-party agreements on the distribution of residual votes, parliamentary seats are tentatively allocated as follows:

“Likud” (Benjamin Netanyahu) — 1,066,982 votes (20.68%) — 26 seats

“Yashar!” (Gadi Eisenkot) — 834,653 votes (16.17%) — 21 seats

"Beyahad" (Naftali Bennett) — 464,828 votes (9.01%) — 12 seats

"Joint List" (Yusuf Jabarin, Ahmad Tibi, Sami Abu Shhadeh) — 474,446 votes (9.19%) — 11 seats

“Democratim” (Yair Golan) — 335,244 votes (6.50%) — 8 seats

RAAM (Mansour Abbas) — 316,981 votes (6.14%) — 8 seats

NDI (Avigdor Lieberman) — 306,209 votes (5.93%) — 7 seats

Yahadut HaTorah (Yaakov Asher) — 291,001 votes (5.64%) — 7 seats

“Otzma Yehudit” (Itamar Ben-Gvir) — 285,954 votes (5.54%) — 7 seats

Shas (Aryeh Deri) — 273,708 votes (5.30%) — 7 seats

“Religious Zionism” and “Zehut” (Bezalel Smotrich / Moshe Feiglin) — 242,185 votes (4.69%) — 6 seats

Compared to previous stages of the vote count, the Ra’am party strengthened its position, gaining an additional seat at the expense of the “Joint List,” though the total representation of Arab factions remained at 19 seats.

Outsiders and the Significance of Special Ballots

Two political parties still fail to clear the 3.25% electoral threshold:

“Reservists and the Economic Party” (Yoaz Hendel / Yaron Zeliha) — 135,574 votes (2.63%)

“Amcha Israel” (Ofer Winter) — 82,651 votes (1.60%)

The final suspense of the election centers on the so-called “double envelopes”—votes cast by IDF soldiers, diplomats, hospitalized patients, prisoners, and individuals who voted at special polling stations. The publication of updated data reflecting these ballots could adjust the close results and alter the precise distribution of seats. The final official election results must be certified no later than November 4, 2026.
