The Ukrainian Armed Forces Killed An Actor From A TV Series Popular Among Russians On The Front Lines

He appeared in *Cop Wars*.

Ukrainian defense forces killed Russian actor Yefim Startsev on the front lines; he had been participating in Russia’s war against Ukraine. The Russian news agency TASS reported on the occupier’s death, citing a friend of Startsev, according to “Dialog.UA”.

According to him, the occupier was killed on September 30, but was not buried until October 19 in St. Petersburg.

“Yefim is gone; he died almost a month ago, on September 30,” said the source speaking to Russian propagandists.

He confirmed that Startsev died in the war. It is not reported in which sector the occupier was killed.

Starcev was 50 years old. Russian media do not specify when or how he ended up in the ranks of the Russian occupation army and was sent to fight in the war against Ukraine. However, according to information from Russian websites dedicated to the film industry, Startsev was likely sent to join the occupying forces after 2024, as his most recent film work dates back to that year.

In 2024, he appeared in the third seasons of the Russian TV series “Filin” and “Nash Spetsnaz.” In total, Startsev’s filmography includes 19 roles in 19 projects.

In particular, he starred in such TV series popular among Russians as “Cop Wars” and “Liteiny.”
