A major power outage has occurred in New Moscow (RF), writes The Moscow Times.

According to "Beware of Moscow," the blackout was caused by an emergency outage at a substation supplying the area with electricity. "Dozens of houses remain without light. Power supply is gradually trying to restore, but the accident has not yet been eliminated," - quotes the words of eyewitnesses telegram channel. The Unified Duty Dispatch Service said it was aware of the incident and promised to eliminate the consequences of the failure "in the near future".

Earlier, on October 6, the shelling of Belgorod left about 40 thousand residents of the regional center without power supply. As a result of damage to the energy infrastructure in the city and the surrounding area, the water supply was also cut off. As "Ashes" wrote, then under attack hit the electric substation "Luch", previously already attacked on September 28.
