US Announces New $500 Million Military Aid Package For Ukraine

It includes defence against nuclear weapons, missiles for HIMARS and more.

The United States of America will provide Ukraine with new weapons as part of another military aid package. It includes ammunition for HIMARS and more.

This was announced by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, the State Department website reported.

According to Blinken, the package is estimated at $500 million. It includes:

ammunition for counter-unmanned aircraft systems (c-UAS);

munitions for high-mobility artillery rocket systems (HIMARS);

155mm and 105mm artillery munitions;

High-velocity anti-radiation missiles (HARM);

Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS);

Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles;

High Mobility Multipurpose Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV);

light tactical vehicles;

Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) defence vehicles;

Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;

tube-launched, optically guided and wire-tracked missiles (TOW);

small arms ammunition;

grenades and training equipment; blasting equipment and ammunition;

spare parts, support equipment, services, training and transport.
