The marketplace lost at least 17% of its warehouse space.
Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert “Madyar” Brovdi confirmed today’s attack on the Wildberries warehouse in Krasny Bor in the Leningrad Region and stated that “a purple cloud of WB ash reached St. Petersburg.” On his Telegram channel, he also emphasized that over the past 18 days, the “Freedom-Loving Ukrainian Bird” has visited 15 facilities and has already destroyed 13 Wildberries warehouses.
“Each of the 111 million voters in the Russian Federation already owes the authorities $146 today because of Wildberries. But this is only the beginning—even greater losses lie ahead, and the ‘shopping carts’ will be filled to the very limit of patience, without a doubt,” — noted “Madyar.”
In July alone, Russia’s largest marketplace, Wildberries, lost at least 17% of its warehouse space due to strikes by Ukrainian drones. According to experts’ estimates, the total losses of companies that stored their goods there could amount to nearly 280 billion rubles, or 3.51 billion U.S. dollars, notes "Zerkalo Nedeli. Ukraine".
Wildberries is currently looking for ways to replace its lost logistics infrastructure, but in Russia, owners of available warehouses are unwilling to lease their space to the marketplace. Therefore, the company has begun searching for warehouses in Kazakhstan.
