The video went viral.
A Belarusian student at an American university Gleb Vashkevich taught his roommate—who supports Russian dictator Vladimir Putin—a lesson by covering the door with dozens of stickers supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty. A video showing the result has garnered more than 40,000 likes.
Vashkevich shared this story in an Instagram post. In response, the pro-Russian roommate complained to the dorm and campus administration and, at the same time, accused the Belarusian student of racism—simply because he had openly opposed his views.
According to Vashkevich, the neighbor’s complaint led to nothing: the false accuser, whose claims were proven unfounded, was forced to move to another dormitory.
In the comments, as noted by "Obozrevatel", internet users actively supported the Belarusian student. At the same time, many wondered why the university had not yet expelled the roommate for supporting the aggressor country. Others wondered why the university even houses Ukrainian and Russian students together in the first place.
