Special forces from the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) carried out a raid in an enemy-controlled town and captured a Russian occupier.
According to "Censor.NET", fighters from the “BAT-13” and “ARATTA” units, part of the “Timur Special Forces” of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, infiltrated a settlement controlled by Russian troops during a combat mission.
The released footage shows special forces entering the building where enemy personnel were hiding. The soldiers fired warning shots and ordered the Russian soldier to surrender, promising to spare his life.
As a result, another Russian serviceman was taken into Ukrainian custody, which may subsequently facilitate the return of Ukrainian defenders from Russian captivity.
The Main Intelligence Directorate notes that behind every such operation lies thorough preparation, precise planning, coordinated teamwork, and timely decisions by the fighters.
