The dictator doesn't understand the reality of the battlefield and is engaging in self-hypnosis.
Russian pro-war bloggers are already openly questioning statements by Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin regarding the Russian military’s successes in the war against Ukraine.
This was once again highlighted by journalist Denis Kazansky in his new video.
According to him, Russian Z-spokespersons are now openly stating that in certain sectors, Russian troops are not advancing but are losing ground. At the same time, they suggest that Putin is being given distorted reports about the situation on the front lines and that the dictator is simply unaware of the real picture.
Some Russian military bloggers are calling what is happening “self-hypnosis” and fear that Russia’s military and political leadership is literally losing touch with reality.
One of them even draws parallels between Putin and Nicholas II, who, during World War I, also received optimistic reports despite the Russian army’s enormous problems in reality.
According to Z-bloggers, the Russian Federation is caught in a vicious cycle: Kremlin propaganda reports on successes; the leadership sees these reports and uses them as the basis for its statements; and then the propaganda continues to spread even more optimistic narratives.
At the same time, even military bloggers are already acknowledging that the public is tired of the war. Kazansky believes that a similar situation involving a miscalculation by the Kremlin has been observed before—prior to the start of the full-scale invasion, when Russian propaganda overestimated the capabilities of its own army and underestimated Ukraine’s ability to defend itself.
Ultimately, this led to a real catastrophe for Moscow: massive losses, a tarnished reputation, and a severe economic crisis.
