Thermal power plants and other critical facilities have been hit.
On the night of August 1, a number of occupied Ukrainian cities—which had been seized by Russian occupiers—came under drone attack. In many of them, fires broke out.
This was reported by Charter97.org, citing OSINT channels on Telegram.
According to these channels, drones attacked the city of Zugres in the Donetsk region that night. Strikes were carried out on the Zuevskaya Thermal Power Plant, after which a fire was spotted at the energy infrastructure facility.
In addition, Berdyansk in the Zaporizhzhia region was hit by drones. It is claimed that the drones attacked energy facilities, causing a power outage in part of the city. There were also reports that a gas station might be on fire.

According to information from social media posts, Luhansk, Dolzhansk (Luhansk Oblast), and Sevastopol (Crimea) were also targeted. Fires broke out in all of these cities following the attacks, but it is not yet known exactly what was targeted.
