Ukrainian Drones Attacked Yet Another Logistics Center In The Moscow Region

In Kaledino, near Podolsk, following an attack by Ukrainian drones on the Moscow region, a fire broke out at a warehouse belonging to the 3PL (Third Party Logistics) company, as reported by Astra. Footage from the scene shows thick black smoke rising above the facility. The strike on the 3PL warehouse was also confirmed by the Ukrainian monitoring channel Supernova+. The head of the Podolsk administration Grigory Artamonov mentioned the arrival of a UAV in Kaledino, but reported only damage to the fence of a private home and a “fire in a wooded area.”

Adjacent to the 3PL warehouse is Wildberries’ largest distribution center, covering an area of more than 200,000 m², which the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked on July 20. The marketplace’s press office reported that it is operating as usual.

The affected "Koledino 3PL" warehouse covers an area of 10,000 m². The company is an independent operator that provides warehousing, order fulfillment, packaging, labeling, and delivery services for clients, including marketplaces. Among the logistics center’s partners listed on the website are the retail chains “Lemana PRO,” “Perekrestok,” “Lenta,” “Auchan,” “Pyaterochka,” “Magnit,” “Svetofor,” Fix Price, “Globus,” and “Detsky Mir.”

Ukrainian monitoring channels believe that the Wildberries warehouse was likely the target of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Since July 18, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have attacked at least ten of the marketplace’s logistics centers, including those in Elektrostal, Kotovsk, Krasnodar, Nevinnomyssk, Voronezh, and Yekaterinburg. The most recent successful attack took place on July 24, when the company’s logistics complexes in St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Region, and occupied Simferopol were struck.

The U.S. Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that following the attacks on Wildberries facilities in the Moscow Region, authorities urgently deployed additional “Pantsir” air defense systems. Analysts noted that such strikes not only force residents of major cities to feel the consequences of the war but also affect the financial interests of members of the Russian elite, including those in President Vladimir Putin’s inner circle.
