"Defenses Failed": Special Operations Forces Drones Penetrated Anti-Drone Nets At The Tyumen Oil Refinery

New details have emerged regarding the defeat of a key facility located 2,000 kilometers from Ukraine.

Deep Strike units of the Special Operations Forces, in coordination with the "Black Spark" insurgent movement operating within Russia, carried out a strike against the Tyumen Oil Refinery in the Tyumen Region of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by “Censor.NET” citing the Special Operations Forces (SSO) press center.

As noted, the Special Operations Forces’ drones traveled more than 2,000 kilometers to reach their target. The plant’s key facilities were protected by anti-drone nets, but this did not save them. A fire is raging on the refinery’s grounds.

This marks the second time the Tyumen Oil Refinery has been struck by Ukrainian Special Operations Forces. The facility was previously successfully attacked a month ago—on June 20.
What is known about the targeted facility?

The Tyumen Oil Refinery is one of Russia’s largest refineries, with a processing capacity of up to 9 million metric tons of crude oil per year. Thanks to its high-level refining capabilities, it specializes in the production of high-quality gasoline and diesel fuel.
