Media: An Explosion Was Heard Before The Fire At The "Integral" Factory In Minsk

The plant manufactures parts for Russian missiles.

In Minsk, the capital of Belarus, residents heard an explosion on Friday, July 24. After that, a fire broke out at the “Integral” plant, which supplies components for Russian cruise and ballistic missiles, according to UNIAN reports, citing media reports.

According to local residents, dozens of ambulances and fire trucks were dispatched to the facility following the explosion and fire.

Officially, the Belarusian Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that a fire broke out in the “attic of a one-story building.” Preliminary reports indicate there are no casualties. Sixteen pieces of equipment from the emergency services are operating at the scene.

“Military” reported that the plant specializes in the production of electronic components, covering the entire cycle—from development to manufacturing.

Together with its subsidiary “Transistor,” “Integral” manufactures microprocessors, microcontrollers, integrated circuits, transistors, diodes, radiation-hardened components, and other electronics used in military and space technology.

The publication added that both enterprises are under the jurisdiction of the Belarusian Ministry of Industry and are among the largest manufacturers of microelectronics in the country.

As reported by Charter97.org, the Ukrainian President’s Representative for Sanctions Policy, Vladislav Vlasyuk, stated that the Integral plant manufactures components for Russian missiles, and that the plant itself works for the Russian defense industry.
