Belarusians To Russians: You Won't Think It's Enough

Our compatriots are outraged by the rude behavior of tourists from Russia.

The number of social media posts by Russians that misname Belarus is decreasing day by day, but some citizens of the neighboring country continue to display their ignorance.

“Yay, let’s fly to Belarus,” wrote a user with the handle fisher_yvr on Threads. Not only that, but in response to a hint, he claimed that “Belarus is a tractor.”
The website Charter97.org lists the most popular comments under the post:
— Don’t go! We’re only happy to see those who know the name of our country! Ignoramuses have no business here! And you’re wrong to think that Belarusians are such pushovers who put up with everything. We put up with it for now, but only for so long. But then you’ll get a taste of your own medicine! It’s only our peacefulness that gives you a chance to correct your mistake.

— I hope they’ll soon start issuing fines right at the borders and at the airport for getting the country’s name wrong

— Did your head go blank over there because of a gas shortage? Or have you been like this since birth?
— From Leningrad via Yugoslavia?
— Get your act together when it comes to spelling.
— You can fly to Belarus. But don’t go to “Belarus.” You’re not welcome here.

— Change your route immediately! There’s no such country—they’re tricking you!

— You’re flying to a country and don’t even know its name.

— I hope you choke on some draniki!

— You’re 30 years too late.
