Zelenskyy Approved A 40-Day SBU Operation Against Russia

It should prompt the Kremlin to end the war.

The Security Service of Ukraine is launching a 40-day operation to influence Russia and urge it to end the war.

This was reported by Charter97.org, citing a statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The head of state discussed the findings of a report by SBU Director Yevhen Khmara on a plan for long-range and medium-range sanctions, as well as the results of the “Alpha” Special Operations Center’s activities on the front lines.

“I have approved a 40-day operation by the Service to influence the aggressor state in order to encourage it to end the war,” the Ukrainian president emphasized.

Zelenskyy emphasized that for several months in a row, it has been the SBU that has demonstrated the highest performance in defending Ukraine’s positions on the front lines thanks to various types of drones.

“The ‘Alpha’ Special Operations Center leads in terms of the number of enemy personnel and equipment destroyed,” the head of state noted.
