The Commander-in-Chief Of The Armed Forces Of Ukraine Warned Of A Threat From Belarusian Territory

Ukraine will form new brigades.

Due to the threat of a new offensive from Belarusian territory, Ukraine will have to form new military brigades. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russia, having failed to make headway on the main fronts, may attempt to expand the front by another 160 kilometers by advancing from the north.

Syrsky emphasized that simply increasing the strength of existing units will not be enough—it will not allow for the effective defense of a longer line of defense.

“If the front is expanding both in width and depth, the math is clear: we need new military units,” stated the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia wants to draw Belarus even deeper into the war.
