The goal of the "Brave Boar" exercises is to ensure the rapid and effective defense of this area.
From June 16 to 26, Lithuania, Poland, and France will conduct the "Brave Boar 2026" military exercises in the Suwalki Corridor region, near Belarus. This was reported by LRT.
The exercises will involve servicemen from the Polish and French armed forces, as well as the Grand Duke of Lithuania Butigeidis Dragoon Battalion from the “Žemaitija” Infantry Brigade.
The purpose of the exercises is to improve coordination between allied units and to practice joint military operations. During the maneuvers, the military will also develop the skills necessary for the rapid and effective defense of the Suwalki Corridor.
A similar exercise, “Brave Boar 2025,” took place last May in Poland. About 3,500 military personnel from Poland, Lithuania, Sweden, the Czech Republic, the United States, and other NATO countries participated in them.
The military practiced storming facilities, evacuating the wounded and equipment, as well as defending positions. More than 600 pieces of equipment were involved in the exercises.
