European Shares Went Up

It became known what caused the optimism.

European stocks are heading higher on Friday: Investors were optimistic on signals of progress in peace talks between the U.S. and Iran, although the sides remain divided on key issues.

The pan-European STOXX 600 index was up 0.7% by 10:22 MSC.

The rise was led by Nokia, Infineon Technologies and Deutsche Post shares, up 4.4%, 4.35% and 4.1% respectively

The German DAX index strengthened 0.8%, the British FTSE 100 added 0.4% and the French CAC 40 added 0.7%.
