Another Tax Innovation Has Been Introduced In Belarus

Tax officials have warned of changes from May 1.

May 1 this year, Belarus introduced changes in connection with the issuance of extracts from the records of tax authorities on the calculated and paid amounts of fees. This is reported by the Ministry of Taxes and Levies (MNS). The innovation concerns individuals and individual entrepreneurs.

From May this year, Belarusians, registered as individual entrepreneurs (IE), will be issued a single extract from the records of tax authorities on the calculated and paid amounts of fees and penalties. That is, the document will contain data for both individuals and sole proprietors.

"The extract from the data of the tax authorities will be formed in a similar manner for an individual entrepreneur: it will be supplemented with information on the calculated and paid amounts of taxes, fees (duties) and penalties of an individual," said the Ministry of Taxes and Levies.
