In Belarus, tariffs for some housing and communal services will be raised from June 1, 2026. Among others - on electricity for heating homes. "Zerkalo" tells what tariffs Belarusians will pay for this service.
The tariff for electricity, which some consumers call "three kopecks," will be raised from June 1. It requires the installation of a special additional meter. This tariff will increase next month by 7.3% to 0.0487 rubles per 1 kWh.
Comparison of costs (per 1000 kWh):
May: 45.4 rubles;
June: 48.7 rubles.
Reminder, at the end of January this year, a decree was signed, according to which the increase in tariffs for housing and utility services in 2026 is planned in two stages:
From January 1, almost all services, except for heating and hot water (the increase amounted to about 19.37 rubles).
From June 1, the tariffs for heat energy for heating and hot water supply are scheduled to rise - the average increase will be 3.13 rubles.
Thereby, the total increase in payments for housing and utility services for a typical one-bedroom apartment with three residents at the standard consumption of services should not exceed 0.5 basic value for the year.
