Tuapse Again Attacked By Drones: Refinery And Seaport Under Attack

The fourth strike ended in a new fire.

On the night of May 1, the city of Tuapse in Russia was again attacked by unknown drones. And this is already the fourth attack with consequences in a short period of time.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Russian Telegram channels.

According to the statement of the Head of Tuapse municipal district Sergey Boyko, the threat of drone use for the district was announced on April 30 at 18:54.

There has been no cancellation until now, and around the time of the new day, Russians began complaining about the sounds of explosions in Tuapse.

Russian Telegram channels claim that at least 10 drones have been shot down so far, and no serious consequences or destruction on the ground has been seen yet.

At the same time OSINT publiki write that the Tuapse oil refinery and seaport (terminal) are under drone attack again. And after the attack on one of the likely places of arrival there was a fire, which is noticeable on the published footage in social networks.

It is worth adding that this night unknown drones attacked also temporarily occupied Melitopol Zaporizhzhya region. There, tentatively, the Russians' BC warehouse came under attack.

Operts of the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation confirmed that a fire broke out on the territory of the marine terminal as a result of the drone attack.

We recall that during April, Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out three series of massive drone attacks on the Tuapse oil refinery. As a result of these attacks, more than 60% of the port's logistics facilities were destroyed, and oil refining units were hit.

In connection with these strikes, Tuapse has already experienced three large-scale fires and heavy toxic smoke. Against this background, on April 28, it became known that local authorities announced an urgent evacuation of the population for the first time since the attacks began. In addition, the leakage of oil products into the Black Sea caused an ecological disaster.
