AFU Drones Hit Oil Station Near Samara, Where Urals Are Produced

On the night of April 21, drones attacked facilities in the Samara region. According to preliminary information, the target could be the Samara linear production and dispatch station, an important facility of the main oil transportation infrastructure, "Dialog" reported, citing an analysis of publications in social networks.

The region's governor, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, confirmed that the region's strategic facilities were subjected to aerial attacks during the night. He said that "the Ukrainian Armed Forces made another attempt to attack an industrial enterprise," and that operational services were working at the sites where UAVs fell.

A summary from the Russian Defense Ministry claims that Russian air defense forces allegedly shot down 97 aircraft-type drones that night, but did not specify the exact number in the Samara region.

The Samara LPDS is reportedly involved in blending oil from different fields to form the Urals export grade, which is then supplied abroad. Against this background, the facility has previously been the target of attacks - in particular, in September 2025.
