The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, former head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov personally participated in special operations on the territory of Russia. This was told by the commander of the GUR's "Timur Special Unit" in an interview with Natalia Moseychuk in the "Moseychuk+" project, noted unian.net.

"First it was Grayvoron. Kirill Alekseevich marched with the unit through forests and fields," the military officer said.

The commander also recalled one of the episodes of the operation: during the movement, the group stopped at a store and a bus stop, where Budanov offered to pause, noting the symbolism of being on this territory.

"He said: 'Let's sit here, because this is also our territory,'" he said. He said Budanov also left his signature and date there as a sign of his presence.
