Intelligence: Russian Federation Planning To Blow Up Building In Mariupol Where Captive 'Azov' Fighters To Be Tried

A possible terrorist attack is scheduled for Ukraine's Independence Day.

According to one of the scenarios, Russia is planning to blow up the building in Mariupol, where the Azov prisoners will be tried.

This is reported by the Ukrainian Defence Ministry.

"On Ukraine's Independence Day, the occupiers are planning to hold a show "trial" in the temporarily occupied Mariupol over the captive defenders of Azovstal. To this end, the premises of the Mariupol Philharmonic Society are being urgently reconstructed. Iron cages will be installed on the Philharmonic's stage. Also, several new temporary facilities are being built next to the premises," the statement said.

It is noted that in order to "legitimize" this action, the occupiers are preparing specially trained "witnesses" and bringing in representatives of the Russian "media".

"According to one of the possible scenarios of the Rashists, they may launch a rocket attack on the premises. In case of such a scenario, the Rashists will try to shift the blame for the crime onto Ukraine," the Ukrainian Defence Ministry stressed.
