Tax Authorities Have Updated the Database of “Parasites” and Ask What Money They Live On

Heating and hot water bills will be especially sensitive.

Tax officials are checking what money those who got into the "parasites" database live on. Thus, a resident of the Barysau district, who was among those not employed in the economy, was asked to report on income and expenses, according to the Ministry of Taxes and Duties.

“In the course of the inspection in the Barysau district of control measures to request declarations of income and property in relation to citizens not employed in the economy, an individual was identified who received a salary “in envelopes,” the Ministry of Taxes and Tax Collection said.

During the inspection, the taxmen found an excess of expenses over income of 88.3 thousand rubles, writes s13.ru.

“The inspectorate demanded a declaration of income and property from an individual. The income tax was calculated from the amount of the excess of expenses over income of 14.13 thousand rubles,” the tax authorities specified.

It should be reminded that, since September 1, the database of parasites has been updated in Belarus. Those who get into it will pay full tariffs for gas, heating, and hot water. Payments for the last two services will be especially sensitive: for "dependents," they will grow by about 5 times.
