From Balaba to Sergeants: Personal Data of All Employees of the Minsk AMAP Appeared on the Web

Nobody will hide from justice.

BYPOL initiative has published a list of AMAP officers of the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee on the Internet.

The database is a list of officers of the AMAP GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee marked with rewards for their activity in suppressing peaceful protests of Belarusians.

The list contains 559 employees with their full names, titles, and positions (from the detachment commander to the policeman-driver).

And most importantly, this list reveals the meaning of numbered stripes on AMAP officers' equipment, which makes it possible, using numerous video and photographic materials, to establish by name the involvement of persons from a particular platoon (company) of the named unit in criminal acts. A platoon, as a rule, consists of 10-20 employees, which significantly narrows the field of search for the perpetrators and allows identifying, if not the perpetrator of the crime, then at least his accomplice or employee who can testify and point out those of his colleagues who have committed a criminal offense (since, otherwise, he himself will be criminally responsible for 406 of the Criminal Code for failure to report a crime).
