The Russian Armed Forces Suffered New Defeats On Several Fronts At Once

The situation on the battlefield is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Over the past few days, Russian occupation forces have been conducting offensive operations; however, the Defense Forces successfully repelled the enemy in various sectors of the front.
This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
On September 4–5, Russian troops continued limited offensive operations in the north of the Sumy region, but there was no confirmed advance. At the same time, according to a source linked to the Russian Northern Military District, Ukrainian defenders are advancing along the railroad between Taratutino and Ryasne, southeast of Sumy.
In the north of the Kharkiv region and in the area of Velykyi Burluk, the occupiers also launched attacks but were unable to achieve success.
According to one Russian source, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are counterattacking and regaining lost positions near Goptovka and Kudievka.
At the same time, Russian military bloggers are claiming, without evidence, that Ukrainian forces have allegedly been surrounded between the Volchansk and Velykyi Burluk sectors.
On the Kupyansk sector, Russian troops continued offensive operations on September 4–5 but did not achieve any confirmed territorial gains.
