In Minsk, A Number Of Educational And Medical Buildings Were The Target Of "bomb Threats"

On September 1, several medical and educational institutions in Minsk received reports of alleged explosive devices. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee, which noted that inspections were conducted at the sites in response.

“Today, several medical and educational institutions in the capital received electronic messages claiming that explosive devices had been planted,” the agency reported.

Bomb disposal experts inspected the specified facilities as well as the surrounding areas—no dangerous objects or explosives were found.

Law enforcement officials are currently working to identify those who sent the false messages. The Main Directorate of Internal Affairs reminded the public that such actions are subject to criminal liability—carrying a sentence of up to 7 years in prison.
