Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Oleksandr Syrskyi from his post as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to blogger and former advisor to ex-Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, Serhiy Sternenko.

This information was also confirmed by the host Radio NV Vasily Pekhno, and was published by People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko.

According to him, the decision to dismiss him was made after the organizers of the mass protests issued an ultimatum.

Dmytro Litvin, the Ukrainian President’s communications advisor, told reporters that the President’s position will be made public shortly.
