Trump Sees No Point In Negotiating With Iran Under The Current Conditions

Peace talks between Washington and Tehran broke down on July 8.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he sees no point in resuming negotiations with Iranian officials to resolve the armed conflict.

“Until they are ready to hold a constructive meeting, we are not interested in that,” Donald Trump told reporters during a meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun at the White House.

Peace talks between the U.S. and Iran ended on July 8. Afterward, the United States resumed strikes on Iranian territory. According to Donald Trump, the U.S. has no plans to stop the bombings for now.
