Gagik Tsarukyan's Prosperous Armenia Party fails to pass into parliament. According to the results of counting 100% of votes, it received 3.996% of votes. This was reported in the Central Election Commission of the country.
According to the updated data, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Civil Pact party gained 49.825%. The Strong Armenia bloc received 23.281% and the Armenia bloc 9.934%, the Central Election Commission said. Central Election Commission Chairman Vahagn Hovakimyan said the results were subject to adjustments because they did not include data from electronic voting.
Gagik Tsarukyan and Alexander Lukashenko keep close ties - Tsarukyan calls him "his friend." The Belarusian Embassy in Armenia is located next to Tsarukyan's mansion in the village of Arinj on the outskirts of Yerevan.
