The talks will take place in Abu Dhabi.

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Budanov will lead the Ukrainian delegation at the trilateral talks with representatives of the United States and Russia, scheduled for next week in Abu Dhabi.

This was reported on November 6 by a correspondent for CBS News Aidan Stretch following a conversation with Budanov.

According to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, he does not expect a significant breakthrough during this round of talks. At the same time, the agreement by the Ukrainian and Russian delegations to meet in person “is already a sign of progress.”

Budanov emphasized that the upcoming meeting will not be the final one. During the meeting, the parties are expected to discuss their readiness to end the war.
He also noted that the negotiators’ military experience could be useful when discussing the technical aspects of a possible ceasefire.

On November 5, Jared Kushner, special envoy to U.S. President Donald Trump, confirmed that next week in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) will host the first trilateral talks between Ukraine, Russia, and the U.S. since February.

On November 4–5, talks between Ukraine, the U.S., and Europe took place in Brussels, focusing on Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction, its economic development, and security guarantees. Rustem Umerov, head of Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service, who participated in these meetings, stated that they are a continuation of the talks that took place in Florida and Oslo.
