The Kremlin chief's plane will fly to St. Petersburg.
The aircraft of the “Rossiya” flight squadron, carrying Vladimir Putin on his return from Turkmenistan, were unable to land in Moscow due to the closure of the capital’s airports. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Novaya Ploshchad”, whose author described the situation as unprecedented since the start of the war.

According to the channel, four aircraft from the flight squadron were circling in a holding pattern near Moscow. Three of them were flying from Turkmenbashi Airport, where Putin’s visit to the CIS summit had concluded a couple of hours earlier.
All Moscow airports were closed due to the threat of a drone attack. Planes headed for Vnukovo were diverted to alternate airports.
Later, the channel reported that two of the planes would apparently land in St. Petersburg. There is no official confirmation of this information yet.
