The Head Of Germany's Space Command Made An Unexpected Statement About Aliens And Russia

Who should I prepare to face?

The head of the German Armed Forces' Space Command Michael Traut is firmly convinced that extraterrestrial life exists, but believes it is necessary to prepare to counter threats posed by humans.

This was reported by Die Welt.

In Germany, a special military command monitors potential threats in space. However, there has not yet been a single contact with other forms of life.

Air Force Major General Michael Traut stated: “I am absolutely certain that other forms of life exist out there in space.”

At the same time, he does not see a potential threat from aliens that Germany needs to prepare for.

“First and foremost, we need to prepare for threats created by humans. And there are already enough of those,” Traut noted.

Given the vast size of the universe, it is unlikely that the German armed forces will ever be able to establish contact with extraterrestrials, he noted.

However, the commander identified Russia as a specific threat, noting that, in theory, it is already capable of destroying foreign satellites in space.

With his headquarters in the city of Judem (North Rhine-Westphalia), established in 2021, Traut monitors what is happening in space and assesses whether it poses a threat to Germany’s security. His main tasks include assessing the space situation and protecting Germany’s own satellites.
